I was very disappointed with this product. First thing I noticed was that the color was a bit darker than what was in the picture and the ribbed cloth was much more noticeable in person than on the picture you see. These were not my major complaints. The cloth was soft but it felt thin and cheap. When I tried to put the cushion cover on the stitching ripped on the side then the zipper popped. My experience was very similar to Nicole M. Melnick. Yes, cheaper than a new couch but for a $100 piece of cloth I expected much more. Maybe next time I will try a one piece slip cover with no zipper though I am weary now of slip covers.

I have a couch with a winged back and I have to be content with an imperfect fit with some wrinkling and draping over the arms. For what I'm using for, getting some life out out of a torn, stained couch that's still comfortable, it's fine. I wouldn't be that happy with it if I had bought it to just change the look of a couch in good condition, although I have to say it probably would have been a better fit on a couch more like the one in the picture and not the wing backed one that I have. I'm not sure how sturdy it is. I heard it start to tear and had to be really careful when I was pulling on it trying to fit it to my couch, so maybe it's not so suitable to have around little kids or rowdy teenagers.

I usually really do not like slipcovers because they never stay in place and look tacky....BUT, I was desperate for a quick solution before holiday guests arrived. AND this slipcover is exceptional! The 2-pc. cover looks more like upholstery, and the stretchy fabric ensures a snug fit for just about any contour (I have a camel back 2-cushion sofa-sleeper). Because mine is a sofa sleeper, I was worried about whether or not the excess would stay "tucked." I saved some long, sturdy paper tubes (from gift wrap or from a fabric store) to tuck along the back crevice and at the side arms to help hold it securely. [If that had not worked, I had planned to use long strips of 3-4" thick foam for this purpose.] I rarely have to re-tuck, even though that sofa is my husband's favorite place for his daily nap -- What a relief! And it looks tailored too. I would definitely buy another of this type and style.

While I agree with the other reviewers that the material is soft and the sofa cover looks great, the cushion cover is a disaster. Firstly, our seams popped, too. Secondly, the cheap, flimsy zipper broke right in our hands the first time we tried to zipper the cushion cover shut - and we only had 1 of 2 cushions in there. This should have a much sturdier zipper.

Let me first say that I ALMOST gave this 5 stars... it is truly a wonderful cover!! It's good looking, it stays put very well, and it is SOFT. I want to invite people over to my house just so they can sit on my soft "new" couch. Seriously... it's luxurious feeling. I love that it has a seperate cover for the cushions - it really helps it stay put and it takes away some of that "cover" look. Even my skeptical husband thought this cover looked awesome. And, it doesn't move around like most covers. Even with our two chilren jumping all over, it stays where it's supposed to be. Have I mentioned that it's soft?
Now, for the only two bad things I can say about this cover: the first and biggest thing is that the seams kept popping when I put it on. The fabric is stretchy but the seams really aren't. I kept cringing hearing them pop whenever I tugged a little bit. You have to put it on very very gently, and be careful not to pull any areas that are taught. Once it was on it was fine and no more seams have ripped, but I had to sew some seams back up immediately after putting it on. We do have a large couch (95" wide with high arms) so you likely wouldn't have this issue with a smaller couch. And again, once it was on, it wasn't an issue anymore. The other negative is that the sides and back aren't long enough to completely cover the couch and it leaves some spots showing. So if you want to have your couch in the middle of a room where people will see the back, this might not work for you. If it's going to be pushed up against a wall, it's probably not an issue. And again, we covered a large couch, so with a smaller couch you'd likely be fine.
I would definitely recommend this product and have my eye out for another one in the olive color. Oh - don't pay the $109 that Amazon is asking, I got this easily for $80 elsewhere with free shipping.
1 month update - Still LOVE this. The cover has stayed in place perfectly, and has held up very nicely to the children. I've also discovered it's water repellent - WOO HOO! I haven't had any more problems with the stitching. Oh, and it's still soft. :c) If my couch wasn't a mammoth, I would no doubt have given this 5 stars. (Note: my couch is still within the dimensions this slipcover says it covers.)
